Leverage's First Basic Course for Greenhouse Gas Inspectors was Successfully Completed

On September 28 and 29, 2022, the Greenhouse Gas Inspector Basic Course training course jointly organized by Shanghai Leverage and Green Technology Bank was successfully held at the Green Technology Bank headquarters in Pujiang International Financial Plaza, Hongkou District.

This training course system, deeply expounds the carbon emissions verification of knowledge and methods and matters which should be paid attention to in actual audit work through by the combination of theory and practice, the students by teacher detailed explanation, question part, case analysis, grasp the "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality "  objective scientific basis and policy action, Background of climate change, interpretation of GHG emission accounting methods and reporting guidelines for eight industries, interpretation of ISO14064 and ISO14067 standards, calculation of carbon footprint, third-party verification workflow and key points, analysis of key cases, CCER project development, certification/certification, domestic carbon trading and other related knowledge.   The learning atmosphere was good.   The students listened carefully and asked questions actively.

Finally, all the students took part in the training examination, in which they fully verified what they had learned during the training. Those who passed the examination would be given a training certificate with CCAA training number. On the basis of meeting the basic requirements of education, work experience, professional work experience and verification tasks stipulated in the GHG Inspector Registration Criteria, trainees can apply for registration to CCAA after passing this training.
