Leverage publishes its 2022 ESG Sustainability Report

On June 30, 2023, Leverage released its 2022 ESG Sustainability Report. The ESG report published this time is the second ESG sustainability report issued by Leverage. In line with the principles of objectivity, standardization, transparency and comprehensive, detailed disclosure of the company's practice and performance in environmental, social, corporate governance and other areas of responsibility.

Focusing on the theme of ESG (environment, society and governance), the report is divided into six chapters: "On Leverage", "Stakeholders of Leverage", "Environment", "Society", "Corporate governance" and "ESG Practice", summarizing and combing various information and data, fully demonstrates Leverage's actions and effectiveness in corporate governance, business innovation, climate change and environmental protection, green operation, net zero transformation, talent management, employee care, responsible production and consumption, community building and public support, public charity, business ethics and anti-fraud.

Understanding that human health and environmental well-being are closely linked, Leverage has always embraced the concept of "green Planet", focused on building an environmentally friendly green service system, and is firmly committed to achieving carbon neutrality across the value chain by 2035. We have carried out comprehensive greenhouse gas management, water management, waste management, green office and other actions to minimize the impact on the environment.

As one of a series of measures to combat climate change, Leverage has made a global commitment to fully achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2035. In order to achieve the net zero goal, all Leverage employees are actively involved. We will shift to a more environmentally friendly and low-carbon service model, and continue to improve our carbon emission reduction capabilities through digital means within the existing business framework. We will also plan to procure renewable electricity to meet all electricity needs, reduce carbon emissions from office electricity, and balance the remaining energy consumption and travel flights through carbon offsets and offsets.

Leverage has always been committed to paying close attention to public interests and environmental issues, expanding service capabilities, and strengthening the protection of the ecological environment through innovative technical means. We provide customers with services such as product carbon footprint accounting, organizational carbon verification, corporate carbon neutral roadmap customization, OCI ocean plastic recycling certification, CDP carbon disclosure questionnaire corporate training and coaching, and are committed to promoting the comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development.

In operation, we have always pursued an equal and non-discriminatory employee management policy, treating employees of different races, colors, nationalities, genders, ages and religious beliefs in a fair and equitable manner, prohibiting and resisting any form of child labor and forced labor, and prohibiting intimidation, harassment and any acts of discrimination against employees. At the same time, in the operation, we actively care for employees, pay attention to the health and safety of employees, committed to the growth and development of employees, develop tailored development paths for employees at different career stages, and provide a variety of professional training and practice opportunities to broaden the career development prospects of employees. In 2022, the company made full use of online and offline platforms and resources to expand the coverage of training and enrich the training content, and the total annual per capita training time was 75 hours.

Good corporate governance is a crucial prerequisite for the development of an enterprise. As a clean, transparent and responsible company, Leverage has a good management system and regularly communicates effectively with various stakeholders.

In order to effectively handle issues related to environment, society and corporate governance, Leverage management layer and the Sustainability Committee have developed a series of ESG-related management procedures. Through training and publicity inside and outside the company, various ESG-related policies have been gradually implemented.  In addition, Leverage has established an ESG Sustainability Committee, which is responsible for formulating the company's sustainable development strategy, including carbon neutrality goals and paths, and overseeing the implementation of these plans.

The growth and development of an enterprise is inseparable from a good foundation of business ethics. By establishing good internal management mechanisms and systems, Leverage actively advocates business ethics principles of honesty and trustworthiness, fair competition, and the elimination of corruption, in order to achieve the goals of honest operation, transparent operation, and responsibility. At the same time, Leverage actively promotes business innovation, strives to build core competitiveness, advocates a culture of innovation, and assists partners to innovate together.
