On March 13, 2023, Mr. Meng Fanqi, Director of Shanghai Society of Sustainability, visited Leverage and had a cordial meeting with General Manager Qu Weifeng.

During the talks, the two sides first introduced the daily project types and future business development direction of their respective institutions to each other, and carried out all-round discussion and implementation of standard research and development, project management, certification cooperation and other aspects, and discussed the possibility of further cooperation in the future.

With the approval of Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau and Shanghai Association for Science and Technology, Shanghai Society of Sustainability was established in Shanghai on March 29, 2020 under the joint initiative of a number of scientific research institutions, enterprises, experts and scholars, including Tongji University, Shanghai Maritime University, East China University of Political Science and Law, Shanghai Municipal Engineering Design and Research Institute.

The core mission of Shanghai Society of Sustainability is to focus on our sustainable development strategy in the international context of the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, base on Shanghai's goal of building itself into a socialist modern international metropolis with world influence, gather Shanghai's wisdom, tell China's story well, and make substantial contributions to the realization of the global Sustainable Development Goals.

The strategic positioning of Shanghai Society of Sustainability is to build a professional, interdisciplinary and strategic research think tank, conducting research on sustainable development in four dimensions: Shanghai, Yangtze River Delta, China and the world.

Mr Meng Fanqi, deputy secretary-general of Shanghai Society of Sustainability, is currently an expert registered in China such as international IS0/TC268 (city and community). He used to served as the director of the International Standards Committee of the Research Association, presided over the work of the National Standards Committee, and presided over the compilation of more than ten international, national and group standards. He had also assisted Mr. Dong Shanfeng to successfully host the twice-yearly international standardization conference. Promote the high-quality development of China's economic environment and society.
